Thinking about Boudoir?

Boudoir is more about the client not so much about the images. It is about being comfortable in your own skin. Feeling empowered and beautiful. The story that I hear the most from my clients when they book a session is how it makes them feel when they get the final images.

The image above was one that I had taken for a client who wanted a “trash the dress” session. Now not all of these sessions end up in lingerie, but this one did. If you follow the entire series of photographs it tells a story of transformation and finding herself. The empowerment that comes from a session like this is something that truly has to be experienced.

Where this photograph tells a similar but different story of finding ones self. This client when we started working together was shy and reserved. She found empowerment in the series of photographs we had taken that day.

To make a short story long. A great number of people use boudoir to find themselves or gift to a fiancé on the wedding day or to even just a gift for themselves.
